MHIT Pre-Event Checklist

  • Land Permissions
    • Check that voice permission is off
    • Check that open rez permission is off
    • Check that estate is set for 70 max avatars
    • Check that teleport landing point is set active to ground-path
    • Check that performers or at least members of “Everyone” theater group if they need to rez or change stream.
    • Activate “stone aura” in MC hud
    • Deactivate “gallery aura” in MC hud
  • Notifications
    • Create Event Poster – add to both kiosk before the stones, and in the ruins.
    • Create Event notecard – add to posters
    • Send out 1 week ‘save the date’ notice to MetaHarpers Cabal group
    • Send out 1 week ‘save the date’ notice on subscriber
      • Test Subscriber first
      • Then do real subscriber
    • Set Poster image at ground level, 1wk before event
    • Set SL Event guide, 3 days in advance, possibly change land picture to match the upcoming event
    • Send out 8-24hr group notice alert in MetaHarpers Cabal
    • Send out 8-24hr subscriber notice
    • Send out 8-24hr group chat convo.
  • Theater / Stage level
    • Make sure the correct seats are out
    • Make sure the platform / sphere / pillars are hidden or shown, as needed
    • Make sure the tip jars are moved into the correct locations
    • Double check script performance of the region with Arrehn’s script report
    • Set landing point to correct spot
  • Performer Education
    • Ensure performers know to stand on the backstage floor to avoid unwanted teleports
    • Ensure performers know to remove standalone camera hud
    • Ensure performers are in the land group
    • Ensure performers are encourated to ‘set home’
  • Director Communication
    • Let director know we’ll be doing a cam check 15-20 minutes before, and intro 5-10 minutes before
    • Line up any post-show entertainment if necessary (DJs, etc..) Make sure directory is onboard.

 

AT TIME OF BOOKING

  • Landmarks must be at ground level, 20m outside circle
  • Figure out how tips are split up front
  • Figure out instructions for using shared environment

 

 

DAY OF THE SHOW

  • 2 hr group notice to MetaHarpers Cabal group (1hr before seating)
  • 1 hr group chat convo (ie, as seating opens)
  • Check tip jar
  • 5 minutes before show time, introduce MetaHarpers Immersive Theater

  • Usher Support
    • Ensure at least one person will be standing near the stones, at least 90m before the event, to help guide people into the stones and wear the experience hud.
    • ** Make sure to ask for donations / tips, talk about the venue numerous times before/ during / after the event

 

POST – SHOW CHECKLIST

  • ResSet landing spot
  • Reset EEP environments
  • Reset Music Stream
  • Disable the Stone Circle and make sure the stage is clean
  • Remove the custom poster, put the default poster back
